So my grandma was taken off chemo last Friday because it made her feel so bad she couldn't do anything. After every treatment she would be back in the hospital because she was in so much pain. And it wasn't worth trying to keep her on it because there was very little change. She sounds better now that she's off it, but I know that means little. I really don't think she'll see the end of this year, she isn't good about taking care of herself (part of the reason chemo was so hard). She also seems to be happier, especially now that there is visible hair (really tiny) growing back. My mom's pretty sure she won't see Christmas, so I guess now it's only a matter of time before she goes.
