Thanks. :) I always have so many ideas and most of them will probably not be written either because I lost interest or other projects simply are more important to me. I have to be careful about writing too much at one time. I used to write several stories at the same time and that ended in a lot of half finished stories.
I agree with what you said about personal deadlines. Every time I've written down a deadline or told someone I wanted it done by this time it never seems to get done. Sometimes it's not even my fault, it's just life gets in the way and I don't have the time to write. Quickest way to get me to not do something.
I love doing original stories more than fanfiction actually. Nearly all my unfinished stories are fics I lost interest in. I love creating my own world and characters. There's a freedom there that isn't there with fanfiction at least for me because I try to be as canon compliant as possible in my fics.
